William Kent Krueger's Northwest Angle is the 11th novel in the acclaimed Cork O'Connor mystery series. Set in the remote and unforgiving wilderness of northern Minnesota, the novel follows Cork as he investigates the disappearance of a young woman and uncovers a web of secrets and danger.

Cork O'Connor is a former cop and private investigator who has made a life for himself in the small town of Aurora, Minnesota. He is a man of few words and even fewer smiles, but he is also a man of honor and courage. When a young woman named Maggie Gardiner disappears, Cork is hired to find her. Maggie is a troubled young woman with a history of drug abuse, but Cork believes that there is more to her disappearance than meets the eye.

Cork's investigation takes him deep into the wilderness of northern Minnesota, where he encounters a cast of characters as diverse as the landscape itself. There is Maggie's father, a wealthy and powerful businessman who is determined to find his daughter no matter what the cost. There is Maggie's mother, a fragile woman who is struggling to cope with her daughter's disappearance. And there is Maggie's boyfriend, a young man who is hiding something from Cork.

As Cork digs deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of secrets and danger. He learns that Maggie was involved in a dangerous drug ring, and that her disappearance may be connected to a murder. Cork must race against time to find Maggie and bring her killers to justice, but he soon realizes that he is in over his head.

Northwest Angle is a gripping mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. William Kent Krueger is a master storyteller who has created a complex and unforgettable character in Cork O'Connor. Northwest Angle is a must-read for fans of mystery, suspense, and crime fiction.
